On the morning of December 10, 2024, one of the Turkmen government’s highest awards was awarded to Dr. Barbara Cerasetti, director of the TAP—Togolok Archaeological Project of ISMEO, in recognition of the long and fruitful work in the country. The “Jubilee Medal ‘300th Anniversary of Makhtumkuli Fragi’ ” was awarded on the Day of Neutrality, an anniversary deeply felt by the Turkmen.
